Here is a basic problem to solve for the outcome of a "change-to-more" situation.

Twenty-five children are riding on the bus. At the next stop, 5 more children get on. How many children are on the bus now?

It is equally important for students to learn how to solve to determine the change when the outcome is known.

For example:

Twenty-five children are riding the bus. After the bus stop there are thirty children on the bus. How many children got on the bus?
